• Pioneered and introduced the system of paperless Council meetings (2006, continuing since then)
• Chairperson of Eastern India Lions Leadership Academy: web based portal for learning and platform for conversation between Lions of the world, use of webinars and video conferencing since 2007, and running the first microfinance program of the Association with an outlay exceeding USD 350,000
Anchored the first webinar of LCI with International President (2009)
• Organised first video conference with International President (including LCI associates) and Team 20K leaders in 2007
• MD 322 Virtual Convention with 3000 registrants was planned and organised online as early as June 2020. Around 50 seminars were presented with speakers from every Constitutional Area.
• Organised a two day Sight First Conclave wherein Lions and community ophthalmology experts from across the globe participated, with support from LCIF
• Conceptualised and delivered virtual All India DGE schooling in August 2020
• Assisted other Constitutional Areas as they prepared to go virtual for their Area Forums• Participated in online events from various constitutional areas, including online US Canada Leadership event, All Africa Virtual Meet and some mid-year MD conventions
• Instrumental in organising the Lions Rotary Panel discussion - an event which had more than 30,000 views, bringing together the incoming presidents of both these organisations to encourage collaboration
• Launched a series of episodes - Diversity in Service - with each episode dedicated to a specific cause, showcasing how lions in all CAs work according to different cultures local needs for the same goal
• Fundraising to celebrate the 142nd birth anniversary of Melvin Jones, resulting in collection of USD 160,000 for Campaign 100
• Organised a talk show with the Honourable Health Minister, Government of India, to showcase the services provided to the communities during this challenging period by Lions Clubs in India
