International Board Meetings

AP was elected to serve a two-year term on the International board at the convention at Detroit in 2004.  During this period, he was also appointed on two Ad-hoc committees formed by the International Presidents in the year 2004 and 2005. 
 
In the years 2007-08, 2009–10, 2017–18, AP was appointed as a member of the board committees by the respective International Presidents. Further, during the years 2014–15, 2015–16 and 2016–17, AP was invited to attend meetings of the International Board for his contributions on the GMT. 
 
During the years that AP had the opportunity to serve on the international board, he gained experience with the Finance and Headquarters committee, Long Range committee, Audit committee, Membership Development committee and the Leadership committee of the LCI board. AP thus understands the working of the international board and its intricacies. 
 
Additionally, during 2009–10, AP was appointed on the LCIF Steering committee. 
 
He was instrumental in hosting the ISAME Area Forum at Kolkata in the year 2000 when he was the District Governor, hosting of the International Board Meeting in his home city when he was the International Director, hosting of the golden jubilee celebrations of Lionism in India in 2005, and served as the Chairperson of ISAAME Forum in 2017. 
 
AP was invited to the LCI Forward Group to provide his inputs. 
 
He has also served as chairman of the International Convention Rules of Procedure committee at the conventions in 2015 and 2016.
